The second in the series of games and 8-bit samples, in this pack you will find a range of retro style blips, zips, effects and leads which are similar to the classic chiptune style used in retro video game music but they are not sampled from any hardware and are all original and royalty free to use in your music productions. Commodore 64 Synthesizer Sessions DELUXE is the final release in the Commodore 64 Synthesizer Sessions sample pack series. It comes with 30 multi-sampled instruments which were recorded directly from three different versions of the Commodore 64 home computer. The sounds were designed from scratch using the fantastic MSSIAH cartridge and recorded directly to my M-Audio Delta 1010LT audio interface. There's no EQ or noise reduction here, everything you hear in the pack is 100% genuine SID chip output. The MOS 6581 (SID) sound chip of the classic Commodore 64 (C64) home computer produced 8-bit sounds for games and electronic music back in the early/mid 1980's. Disasterpeace Recordings has programmed 8-bit sounds using a MOS 6581 chip and converted them into 16-bit sounds ; making a Reason Refill with over 200+ drums (stereo and mono), 14 drum kits, and over 30 REX loops ranging from 85bpm to 168bpm.
